Sion Parry is the visionary behind Swish Coaching, with over two decades of experience in both education and professional basketball. A passionate advocate for the sport, Sion has dedicated his career to developing young talent and promoting basketball at all levels.

Professional Background: With a 20-year career as an educator, Sion Parry has been a mentor both in the classroom and on the court. His teaching background provides a strong foundation for his coaching philosophy, which emphasises discipline, growth, and the importance of teamwork.

Basketball Experience:

​

• British Basketball League (BBL): Sion played for the Chester Jets from 2001 to 2003, gaining valuable experience in the British Basketball League (BBL) and competing at a high level of professional basketball.

• Basketball Wales: As a former National Coach for Basketball Wales, Sion has had the privilege of coaching the country's top talent, guiding them through national and international competitions. He also served as Chairman of Basketball Wales School Basketball, where he played a crucial role in the development of school-level basketball programs across the nation.

• Camp Director: Sion is the Camp Director of the Jamell Anderson National Summer Camp, a premier event that brings together young athletes from across the country for top-tier coaching and skill development under the guidance of one of Great Britain's finest players.

• Ambassador for Impact Basketball: As an Ambassador for Impact Basketball, Sion connects local players with world-class training opportunities, helping them reach new heights in their basketball journey.
